Spanish Art song has become a special interest. I have given recitals and master classes both in England and Spain and also continue within this area of song giving background lectures on Manuel de Falla and Enrique Granados.

Education & Workshops

 

Writing and directing education projects for major arts providers (Opera North, Yorkshire Television, D'Oyly Carte Opera, 20,000 Voices, Leeds Artists in Schools) has been a fruitful and stimulating part of my work. I have also been vocal co-ordinator for Education Leeds Artforms, am currently a vocal tutor at Leeds University and have led Opera classes and run workshops enabling drama students to extend their vocal skills. I particularly enjoy setting young singers on the correct initial path in the important area of vocal technique.
